Some of you may be curious as to what this blog is all about... Here's the story.
My mom and I were scouring the internet for a graduation party invitation that wouldn't cost a fortune, but would turn out
exactly how we wanted it. Well, as you may have imagined, the chances that we would find a fully customizable invitation that was inexpensive were slim. Slim to none, if you will. At that moment, I decided that I definitely was not going to settle for ugly cards with ugly pictures and tacky ribbons and graduation caps on them that I would have to pay $1.19 for...
EACH. So, I figured that my only option was to create the invitations myself... *exaggerated sigh*
"I don't want to make them myself! They'll look sooo tacky! I'm not about to start gluing papers and pictures together and give them to my friends! That's --"
"I thought you could use one of those photo editing programs you're always on to make them." My mom reminded me...
--
lightbulb--
"Oh, yeah! I could!" So there it was. I hopped on my trusty laptop and spent the next hour and a half perfecting my graduation invitation. And here it is --
((True street address and phone number are removed for obvious reasons))
So, I started handing out my invitations to my friends and everyone simply raved about them. After the first few invites, a few of my friends asked me to make theirs for them, too! And I, being the amazing friend that I am, happily obliged!
I came home from school that evening and my mom asked how everything went with my invitations.
"Great!" I replied, "I have orders for three other parties to make theirs!"
"You're kidding! That's awesome! You should start selling them..."
And that's how this website came into being.
I do custom party invitations - birthday, graduation, wedding shower, baby shower --- anything your heart can imagine. I will graciously accept any input from you - the customer. Your ideas are my ideas, and if you don't like it - you don't pay a pretty penny!
I can print them and have them mailed to you or you can pay solely for the "labor" and have them printed yourself.
I'm still trying to work out all of the price details - mostly because I refuse to charge $1.19 for a card, even if it is completely custom. But I also would like to make a little money off this - so I will be continuing my research for awhile. Please - offer your suggestions. :)
Thanks!
